WALK OR RUN
It is a project by artist and designer Maruki Nowacki which began in 2012. It encompasses the production and exhibition of limited handmade editions of scarves, of her own design and in collaboration with established contemporary artists from the Argentine cultural scene.
Since 2013, the scarves have been sold in Argentina (Panorama Store, Editor Market, Good Luck Casa, Tienda Patrón, I.D. L.B); Mexico City (Tienda Museo Tamayo); and Miami (Mall and Handmatters).
In 2013, the scarves were exhibited at the British Council and at the Argentine Embassy in London as part of the International Fashion Showcase.
The Walk or Run jewelry collection was exhibited at the international exhibition Drafts Space, New York, 2014.
Private collections featuring Walk or Run editions include: Gustavo Bruzzone, Hernán Worthalter, Patricia Rizzo, and Alejandro Londero (Argentina).
MARUKI NOWACKI. Lives and works in Buenos Aires.
She studied graphic design at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, 2002–2009) and participated in the Artists’ Program at the Center for Artistic Research (CIA, Buenos Aires, 2017) and in the Artists’ Program at the Torcuato Di Tella University (Buenos Aires, 2019).
She has also specialized in artist workshops with Miguel Harte, Marina de Caro, and Liv Shulman.
Her work has been exhibited in Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and the United States.
In 2013, she was part of the Argentine representation at the International Fashion Showcase during BAF Week, London.
In 2020, she was selected by the National Arts Fund.
Since 2018, she has been part of the editorial team of the magazine Segunda Época (Buenos Aires).
WALK OR RUN
Es un proyecto de la artista y diseñadora Maruki Nowacki que comenzó en el 2012. Este abarca la producción y exhibición de ediciones limitadas de pañuelos hechos a mano, de su propio diseño y en colaboración con artistas contemporáneos consolidados de la escena cultural argentina.
Desde el 2013, los pañuelos han sido comercializados en Argentina (Panorama Store, Editor Market, Good Luck Casa, Tienda Patron, I.D. L.B); Mexico D.F. (Tienda Museo Tamayo); y Miami (Mall y Handmatters).
En 2013 los pañuelos fueron exhibidos en el British Council y en la embajada argentina de Londres dentro del marco del International Fashion Showcase.
La colección de joyería de Walk or Run fue exhibida en la muestra internacional Drafts space, New York, 2014.

Estudia diseño gráfico en la Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA) y participa en el Programa de Artistas del Centro de Investigaciones Artísticas (CIA,
Buenos Aires, 2017) y en el Programa de Artistas de la Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (Buenos Aires, 2019).
También se especializa en talleres de artistas como Miguel Harte, Marina de Caro y Liv Shulman.
Ha expuesto su obra en Argentina, México, Chile, Colombia, Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos.
En 2013 integró la representación argentina en el International Fashion Showcase en el marco del Baf Week, Londres.
En 2020 fue seleccionada por el Fondo Nacional de las Artes.
Desde el 2018 es parte del grupo editor de la revista Segunda Época (Buenos Aires).
